Days Gone By

I came upon this scene of an abandoned truck when snowmobiling in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. The next fall, I returned several times to find the proper foliage in low sun. While I was setting up the tripod for my camera, an old farmer came out to warn me about a black bear that was in the area. It had been seen eating fermented apples on the ground beneath the old apple trees and would get intoxicated every night. Needless to say, my photo shoot was completed in record time.
